WITHOUT A TRUE REPENTANT HEART YOU WILL NOT BE INHERITING THE KINGDOM OF ELOHIM (GOD)This is not me judging you because I do not know you but people can put themselves into hell without anyone else’s help. Hell is real but many don’t believe there is a hell.  MAN IS HIS OWN WORST ENEMY!! You most certainly can put yourself there. We can’t just say “Elohim (God) Loves us and live as we wish in all the filth of this world, embracing it, and partaking of it. We can’t just live in ways He hates embracing abominations believing we are getting in”. YES HE DOES LOVE US BUT HE IS JUST AND HE CAN’T GO AGAINST HIMSELF. HE IS HOLY AND PURE!!! We are called to “overcome this world and be separate from it” so if you are living in the world as the world how are you separate and how are you overcoming?

This is a big problem in society in general and because of the failure of so many church leaders never teaching about the FEAR OF GOD. If they had nobody would be testing the waters they way they do now. They would know better and straighten up. My friends, this is eternity and one must think about that; where is your soul going after you die? HE HAS SAID OVER AND OVER AGAIN, NO SIN ENTERS IN AND THAT MEANS REPENTANCE IS ONGOING BUT ONE MUST ALSO TURN AWAY FROM WHAT THEY ARE CURRENTLY IN. You can’t say I am sorry and then never change your ways. Change must be evident in your life for that is how one knows who truly has the Holy Spirit living in them.

Don’t mock Elohim (God) and don’t play games with Him. He means what He says and He doesn’t change to suit our fancy. If you are truly having trouble ridding yourself of a temptation, a vice then cry out to him in all sincerity and He will come and help you. Our souls all hang in the balance; take it seriously, with fear and trembling. It is that serious!!!

WE all must humble ourselves NOW like never before, let go of this worldly stuff and get into alignment with Elohim’s Will. If you are doing what you like, enjoying all the pleasures of the world & not spending alone time with Him, then please sit at His feet and stop doing your own will and get into alignment with His. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND WE MUST BE ALIGNED WITH HIS WILL, NOT OURS. IT’S NOT ABOUT US. Some won’t like what I wrote here but it’s not about what I like, you like, or anyone likes. It is about the truth and Elohim (God) is dead serious about all this and He does not want us in hell (to perish) so why would anyone want to stay in everything He hates and put themselves there? Play time is over for us all.

Like Elohim has said in so many prophetic Words NO unrepentant sin is forgiven so repent now. Change your ways. What are you waiting for? As He has also stated many times, none of us know when it is our time to leave this earth so don’t think you have years to do this. None of us are promised tomorrow and the HOUR IS VERY LATE!!

Please share with all your friends, & relatives.  I love you all and so I must sound the alarm and warn all. Ms. Sophie

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Romans 2:5-11 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

Luke 13:28  28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out.

Of course we’re in trouble! Revelation makes it clear that the Beast System is going to wear out the Saints of the Most High first. What we see going on in this world is preparing the world to persecute the Bride of Christ first and it’s not going to stop. We’re in the last days and The Most High needs to clean up this virus called sin. We all need to repent and get right and make sure we have our lamps filled with oil or we won’t be ready for the Bridegroom when He comes. There are a lot of foolish Virgins in the church who “know” Him but live contrary to His commandments. We’re headed for the Time of Sorrows and the Time of Trouble will be worse than that. People aren’t reading God’s word or strengthening their relationship with Him and feel they can live any kind of way because of His love. Well HIS love & faithfulness isn’t in question here, our love and obedience is! May we all examine ourselves, repent and be obedient.

Question: “Do Christians Have The Authority To Rebuke The Devil?”

Question: “Do Christians Have The Authority To Rebuke The Devil?”

Question: “Do Christians have the authority to rebuke the devil?”

Answer: There are some Christians who believe they not only have the authority to rebuke the devil, but also they must be about the business of rebuking him continually. There is no biblical basis for such a belief. Satan, unlike God, is not omnipresent. He can only be in one place at a time, and the likelihood of his personally harassing individual Christians is miniscule. Of course, he has legions of demons who do his bidding, and they are everywhere seeking to destroy believers’ testimonies. It should be noted here that the Christian cannot be possessed by a demon in the same way people in the Bible are described as being possessed.

As Christians, we need to be aware of the reality of the presence of evil. As we struggle to stand firm in our faith, we must realize that our enemies are not merely human ideas, but real forces that come from the powers of darkness. The Bible says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).

Clearly, God has allowed Satan significant amounts of power and influence over the earth, at least for now, and always within God’s sovereign control. The Bible tells us that Satan prowls around like a lion in search of prey, looking for victims to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Satan is the power at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God (Ephesians 2:2). Anyone who is not under the control of the sovereign God is under the control of the devil (Acts 26:18; 2 Corinthians 4:4). Born-again Christians are no longer enslaved to Satan or to sin (Romans 6:6-7), but this does not mean we are immune to the temptations that he puts before us.

The Bible does not give Christians the authority to rebuke the devil, but to resist him. James 4:7 says to “submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Zechariah 3:2 tells us that it is the Lord who rebukes Satan. Even Michael, one of the most powerful of the angels, did not dare to accuse Satan, but rather said, “The Lord rebuke you” (Jude 1:9). In response to Satan’s attacks, a Christian should appeal to Christ. Instead of focusing on defeating the devil, we should focus on following Christ (Hebrews 12:2) and trust that He will defeat the forces of evil.

It is not necessary for a Christian to rebuke Satan because God has given us His full armor to stand against evil (see Ephesians 6:10-18). The most effective weapons we have against the devil are our faith, wisdom, and knowledge about God and His Word. Christ, when tempted by Satan, answered him with Scripture (see Matthew 4:1-11). To gain victory in spiritual matters, we must maintain a clear conscience and have control over our thoughts. “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

Do Christians have the authority to rebuke the devil?

Is Christian Doctrine and Conduct Rooted in the OT?

Is Christian Doctrine and Conduct Rooted in the OT?

There are many today teaching that the New Testament Church conduct and doctrine is not rooted in the Tenach, i.e. the Old Testament scriptures.  Is this is true?  Can we just simply disconnect from the “Old Testament” and cast it away?  Let’s test this by searching through the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles and see for ourselves if this hypotheses stands.

The Two Greatest Commandments

Jesus was asked about the greatest commandment and he responds by quoting from the Torah.

First and Greatest Commandment

Jesus quotes Deut 6 to show that the commands given to Moses are still applicable to his disciples

  • Mark 12:29-30 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
  • Deut 6:1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
  • Deut 6:4-5 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Second Greatest Commandment

Jesus quotes from Lev for the second greatest commandment.  As you can see from the prophet Zech, God hates it when you imagine evil in your heart against your neighbor.  Jesus taught the exact same thing.

  • Matthew 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
  • Lev 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
  • Lev 19:34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
  • Zech 8:17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord.

Abstain from Idols

The second of the ten commandments given to Moses is to abstain from idols and the apostles confirm this commandment.

  • 1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
  • 1 Cor 10:14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.
  • 1 Thess 1:9 For they themselves report what kind of welcome you gave us, and how you turned away from idols to serve the living and true God;
  • Exodus 20:4-5 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Obey Your Parents

Paul instructed the children to obey their parents and directly correlates it to the fifth commandment.  Paul additionally states that this is the first commandment with promise communicating to the reader that:  1. The commandments are for believers in Jesus Christ 2. There are other commandments with promises

  • Eph 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
  • Eph 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
  • Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Caring for the Laborer

Paul appeals to the law of Moses, also simply referred to as the scriptures to teach about taking care of the laborer.  In this example, Paul directly quotes the law of Moses to instruct the NT church.  This command is not even part of the 10 commandments, yet Paul refers back to it as though this command is still applicable for conduct in the house of God.

  • 1 Tim 5:18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
  • 1 Cor 9:9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
  • Deut 25:4 Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.

Woman Not Having Authority Over the Man

In this example, both Peter and Paul use Genesis to establish their doctrine and conduct for the Church.

  • 1 Tim 2:12-13 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
  • 1 Peter 3:5-6 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:  Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

Keeping Passover and Feast of unleavened bread

In a corrective letter to the Corinthians, Paul instructs the church to keep Passover and feast of unleavened bread.

  • 1 Cor 5:7-8 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Put away evil persons from among you

Here Paul instructs the Corinthians to put away evil from among them.  This commandment came directly from the Torah, the law of God.  Notice that Paul did not instruct the Church to perform capital punishment as in putting someone to death.  He did however instruct by example, to turn people over to Satan for the destruction of their flesh.

  • 1 Cor 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
  • Deut 19:19b … so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
  • Deut 17:7b … So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.

In closing, we can see that the New Testament doctrines and conduct is clearly rooted in the Old Testament scriptures.

When your treasures fail (money, houses, vehicles, investments)

by jcsouthwest

One thing that came to mind this morning.  It’s possible that many people’s idols will be taken away in an instant, as a one last shot at true repentance.

Look what is says is the Bible about storing up treasures here on earth and also about how it’s easier to thread a camel through the eye of a needle; then for a rich person to enter the kingdom! Jesus said, “For Where Your Treasure Is, There Your Heart Will Be Also”!

This is not a post about jealousy or envy; it’s about focusing on the Lord and our eternity.

What will you do when your houses, vehicles and household stuff all collapses around you?  What will you do when all of your “investments” crash?  What will you do when you no longer have access to any Credit/Debit or cash at all?  Will you call out to the Lord for help?  Will you curse the Lord and blame him for your calamities?

If you were given a 15-second notice that your house will be destroyed and you have no time to run, walk or drive anywhere; what will you do?  Hopefully you will call on the Lord for help and not go grabbing stuff out of your house!

Sudden destruction is coming and much will be destroyed in 1 hour!  All due to this nation not repenting; it has heaped up strict judgment on itself.  It has become cesspools of “legalized” sin; it finds no problem with continued daily slaughter of God’s unborn children!   This nation (and most churches) has become a nation of “let’s not hurt anyone’s, feeling”;  it’s all about political correctness and not about the truth in the Holy Word!

Repent! Repent! Repent!

Jesus will accept anyone who truly repents;  he will wipe out all sins and remember them no more.  You have to come to him with a contrite heart, as he knows our hearts and you can’t hide anything from him.   Just by saying you believe in him, won’t get you into heaven if you continue to knowingly Sin with no more repentance.   Some will be given one last opportunity to simply call upon his name and be saved, just like the thief on the cross;  don’t expect to be given this opportunity, for nobody knows when they will draw their last breath!

Absolutely NOBODY will enter the kingdom with unforgiveness in their hearts;  that means NOBODY!  You must forgive everyone, or you will be cast into the lake of fire!  Your sins will not be forgiven, unless you truly forgive others.

Step away from all of the demonic doctrines, such as “Once Saved, Always Saved”.  Listening to sugar-coated sermons doesn’t gain you entry into the Kindom,  it’s true repentance that does that!

Your salvation is not removed from you, you take it away yourself by walking away from Jesus and going back to doing things your way;  didn’t work out so well when Satan thought he could do things his way did it?  Just like the Holy Spirit doesn’t leave on his own, you force him to go away by staying in disobedience and Sin!

Matthew 19:24 (HCSB)

Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”

Mark 10:25 (HCSB)

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”

Luke 18:25 (HCSB)

For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”

Matthew 6:19-21  (HCSB)

“Don’t collect for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.

But collect for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don’t break in and steal.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:15 (HCSB)

But if you don’t forgive people, your Father will not forgive your wrongdoing.

Revelation 18:9-10 (HCSB)

The kings of the earth who have committed sexual immorality and lived luxuriously with her will weep and mourn over her when they see the smoke of her burning.  They will stand far off in fear of her torment, saying:

Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the mighty city!
For in a single hour your judgment has come.

“I Repent” – Song

Notice– I care not what people say about me or my past.  Satan is the one who likes to bring up people’s past sins, be not like him!  Satan will use people to attack true believers with venomous words like, “Look how self-righteous he/she has become”!.  Satan hates it when the truth is spoken.

You will know true believers by their fruit.

Stand Strong During Testing!

by jcsouthwest

Sharing scripture related to the seven churches and some scripture relavant to being refined.  We all need to stand strong during testing.  Much is being allowed to burn away all that is not of the Lord.  Do not curse the Lord no matter what comes your way.  Praise him during all tribulations.  Always remember we have been given all power and authority over the enemy and his minion; always in Jesus name!  Repent often, forgive everyone very quickly and don’t relent on prayers.  This is also a reminder that lukewarmness will not be tolerated.

Revelation 2  (HCSB) “The Letters to the Seven Churches”

The Letter to Ephesus
“Write to the angel of the church in Ephesus:

“The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand and who walks among the seven gold lampstands says:  I know your works, your labor, and your endurance, and that you cannot tolerate evil. You have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and you have found them to be liars.  You also possess endurance and have tolerated many things because of My name and have not grown weary.

But I have this against you: You have abandoned the love you had at first.  Remember then how far you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. Otherwise, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.  Yet you do have this: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

“Anyone who has an ear should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. I will give the victor the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in God’s paradise.

The Letter to Smyrna
“Write to the angel of the church in Smyrna:

“The First and the Last, the One who was dead and came to life, says:  I know your affliction and poverty, yet you are rich. I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.  Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. Look, the Devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will have affliction for 10 days.

Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

“Anyone who has an ear should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. The victor will never be harmed by the second death.

The Letter to Pergamum
“Write to the angel of the church in Pergamum:

“The One who has the sharp, double-edged sword says:  I know where you live—where Satan’s throne is! And you are holding on to My name and did not deny your faith in Me, even in the days of Antipas, My faithful witness who was killed among you, where Satan lives.

But I have a few things against you. You have some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumbling block in front of the Israelites: to eat meat sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality. In the same way, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Therefore repent! Otherwise, I will come to you quickly and fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

“Anyone who has an ear should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. I will give the victor some of the hidden manna.

I will also give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name is inscribed that no one knows except the one who receives it.

The Letter to Thyatira
“Write to the angel of the church in Thyatira:

“The Son of God, the One whose eyes are like a fiery flame and whose feet are like fine bronze, says: I know your works—your love, faithfulness, service, and endurance. Your last works are greater than the first.

But I have this against you: You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and deceives My slaves to commit sexual immorality and to eat meat sacrificed to idols.  I gave her time to repent, but she does not want to repent of her sexual immorality. Look! I will throw her into a sickbed and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her practices.  I will kill her children with the plague. Then all the churches will know that I am the One who examines minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works.  I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who haven’t known the deep things of Satan—as they say—I do not put any other burden on you.

But hold on to what you have until I come.  The one who is victorious and keeps My works to the end:

I will give him authority over the nations— and he will shepherd them with an iron scepter; he will shatter them like pottery just as I have received this from My Father.

I will also give him the morning star.

“Anyone who has an ear should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.

Revelation 3  (HCSB)

The Letter to Sardis
“Write to the angel of the church in Sardis:

“The One who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says: I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.  Be alert and strengthen what remains, which is about to die, for I have not found your works complete before My God.

Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; keep it, and repent.

But if you are not alert, I will come like a thief, and you have no idea at what hour I will come against you.

But you have a few people in Sardis who have not defiled their clothes, and they will walk with Me in white, because they are worthy.  In the same way, the victor will be dressed in white clothes,

and I will never erase his name from the book of life but will acknowledge his name before My Father and before His angels.

“Anyone who has an ear should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.

The Letter to Philadelphia
“Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia:

“The Holy One, the True One, the One who has the key of David, who opens and no one will close, and closes and no one opens says:  I know your works. Because you have limited strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name, look, I have placed before you an open door that no one is able to close.  Take note! I will make those from the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews and are not, but are lying—note this—I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and they will know that I have loved you.

Because you have kept My command to endure, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is going to come over the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

I am coming quickly. Hold on to what you have, so that no one takes your crown.

The victor: I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of My God, and he will never go out again. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God—the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God—and My new name.

“Anyone who has an ear should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.

The Letter to Laodicea
“Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea:

“The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Originator of God’s creation says:  I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were cold or hot.  So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of My mouth.  Because you say, ‘I’m rich; I have become wealthy and need nothing,’ and you don’t know that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked,  I advise you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire so that you may be rich, white clothes so that you may be dressed and your shameful nakedness not be exposed, and ointment to spread on your eyes so that you may see.

As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be committed and repent.

Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and have dinner with him, and he with Me.  The victor: I will give him the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I also won the victory and sat down with My Father on His throne.

“Anyone who has an ear should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Daniel 12:10 (HCSB) Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; none of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.

Revelation 3:18 (HCSB) I advise you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire so that you may be rich, white clothes so that you may be dressed and your shameful nakedness not be exposed, and ointment to spread on your eyes so that you may see.
