Some Survival Lessons We All Need To Learn (Survival Dispatch)

Get to know your neighbors; be friends not enemies because you will need each other. Do not mooch but contribute. Do not expect those who help to do it all for you; you need to help yourself. Do not start fights. Stay out of anything that has FEMA/Red Cross on it.

Never go to a gov. emergency shelter or any shelter, homeless will tell you that. Just look at what happened in Louisiana after there hurricane . Newspaper or pages of books stuffed in your clothes is another good insulator. Bandaid or gauze are like carrying toilet paper if they get wet they will be useless, and bandanas will cover that need. Always have a few heavy duty garbage bags (shelter, blanket, bag to keep stuff dry, etc). Duct tape is a good item to have as well.
