Why does it take so long? – Pieter Kirstein

It’s because we were sold into slavery under sin and we come through a massive spiritual war and we’ve been wounded and messed up and broken through various relationships and battles and forms of hurt and abuse and we need to be restored and raised up and healed and transformed and delivered and our minds needs to be renewed by the power of God’s word until we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

It’s because our old fallen, corrupt fleshly foundation must first be removed and we must be brought through the process of transformation and transition before we can testify that we have been recreated by God as new creations.

No wise builder builds a new structure on the ruins of an old foundation. He first digs down deep to uproot the old to establish the new.

God said to me “allow Me to work. If you let Me penetrate your depths then you’ll find that I’ve become your sure foundation” – Luke 6:46-49.

AS A MATTER OF FACT, THE HIGHER THE CALLING, THE DEEPER THE FOUNDATION.

Our old foundations means that which we functioned and operated out of before God begins His work of sanctification unto godliness in our lives. The life of Christ cannot be found in the ways of man so He brings the old man to it’s very end through the work of the cross – Romans 8:13-13.

Remember beloved that we sowed to the flesh big time and restoration and renewal and regeneration is a long deep and painful journey especially when we consider that we undergo a major supernatural process to become like our firstborn Brother, the Son of God.

Any growth is painful and unfortunately there are no quick fixes in the Christian walk because we are called to overcome and we have a race to complete.

But be encouraged this day precious people of God through the fact that the GOD who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ and as we read in 1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

24 Faithful is He that calls you, who also will do it.

Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

13 Neither yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace.

So we see that we are called to yield ourselves up to God if we desire to go higher and if we desire to overcome. Sanctification is a process and a journey through ourselves and out of ourselves into the fulness of Christ.

This is why He says in Matthew 11:28 Come unto Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

Our faithful Shepherd Jesus is the burden bearer and the bondage breaker so throw yourself upon the Lord today and let Him carry you as we read in Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of our God shall stand forever.

9 O Zion, that brings good tidings, get you up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that brings good tidings, lift up your voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him: behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.

11 He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

We are not in performance beloved, rather we are all undergoing graceful transformation as we come to Him daily and as the Apostle Paul writes to us in Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

15 Let us therefore, as many as would be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything you be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

16 Nevertheless, to what we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

A child can only be to where he has grown, so be patient with God and yourself as He is patient with all of us.

In a prophetic dream God showed me how we are climbing mount Zion in our daily pursuit of Him and we are reaching the top of the mountain which is the glory realm of His Presence.

We are about to break through and break out so stay the course and allow the Spirit of the Lord to complete His work in you because we need God to purify and heal us completely because He is preparing us to stand strong through the final battle.

Isaiah 13

1 The burden concerning Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

2 Lift up a banner upon the high mountain, raise the voice unto them, wave the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for my anger, even them that rejoice in my exaltation.

4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like that of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts musters the army of the battle.

5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

6 Wail you; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

7 Therefore shall all hands be feeble, and every man’s heart shall melt:

8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travails: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

9 Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy its sinners out of it.

10 For the stars of heaven and its constellations shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine.

11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the ruthless.

12 I will make a man more rare than fine gold; even a man more than the golden wedge of Ophir.

13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

14 And it shall be as the hunted gazelle, and as a sheep that no man gathers up: every man shall return to his own people, and flee everyone into his own land.

15 Everyone that is found shall be thrust through; and everyone that is caught shall fall by the sword.

16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be plundered, and their wives ravished.

17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, who shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.

19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans’ pride, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch his tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their sheepfolds there.

21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of howling creatures; and ostriches shall dwell there, and wild goats shall dance there.

22 The hyenas shall cry in its towers, and jackals in their pleasant palaces: her time is near, and her days shall not be prolonged.
