WAS IT NOT GOD THAT BROUGHT PLAGUES AGAINST EGYPT BUT PROTECTED HIS PEOPLE? – Ashleigh Quinn

WAS IT NOT GOD THAT BROUGHT PLAGUES AGAINST EGYPT BUT PROTECTED HIS PEOPLE?

As in the time of the EXODUS
so it shall be again in Day of the Lord, the plagues of REVELATION. The Lord IS ABLE make a distinction, he’s the very one who brings plagues of judgment and gives authority to a wicked pharaoh.

Before Gods children journeyed 40 years in the wilderness to possess the promised land… He protected them from his plagues of wrath against Egypt, set apart in their own land of Goshen. Egypt had given Joseph and his family (the 12 tribes) the best land of Goshen to dwell in.

But on that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, where my people dwell, so that no swarms of flies shall be there, that you may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.
Exodus 8

But the LORD will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt, so that nothing of all that belongs to the people of Israel shall die.
Exodus 9

The hail struck down everything that was in the field in all the land of Egypt, both man and beast. And the hail struck down every plant of the field and broke every tree of the field. Only in the land of Goshen, where the people of Israel were, was there no hail.
Exodus 9

So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was pitch darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, but all the people of Israel had light where they lived.
Exodus 10

So Moses said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘About midnight I will go out in the midst of Egypt, and every firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the slave girl who is behind the handmill, and all the firstborn of the cattle. There shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there has never been, nor ever will be again. But not a dog shall growl against any of the people of Israel, either man or beast, that you may know that the LORD makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.”
Exodus 11

if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard);
then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority.
2 Peter 2
