Hell Awaits Those Who Refuse To Forgive Others!

by jcsouthwest

This post is a reminder that we have been commanded by Jesus himself to forgive others, or we will not be forgiven!   You can’t come up with excuses when you are at the Judgment seat, and expect to enter the Kingdom.

It truly won’t matter what awesome Holy Spirit Gifts You Have, if you die with unforgiveness in your heart!  It won’t matter how often you helped others into the Kingdom, Gave others: Money, Food, Clothing, Shelter, Helps; It won’t matter how often you attended Church or participated in Bible Studies;  It won’t matter how often you shared: Scripture, Prophetic Words;  Don’t expect to be taken up in the clouds when Jesus returns either!  The Lord sees our hearts.

You can forgive everyone in your heart now and hold them up in prayer, without regard to what they did or said.  It’s a reminder to keep prayers going for people holding onto offense and unforgiveness.

Matthew 5:21-26 (HCSB)

“You have heard that it was said to our ancestors, Do not murder, and whoever murders will be subject to judgment.  But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Fool!’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin.

But whoever says, ‘You moron!’ will be subject to hellfire.

So if you are offering your gift on the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you,  leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.  Reach a settlement quickly with your adversary while you’re on the way with him, or your adversary will hand you over to the judge, the judge to the officer, and you will be thrown into prison.  I assure you: You will never get out of there until you have paid the last penny!

Matthew 6:14-15 (HCSB)

“For if you forgive people their wrongdoing, your heavenly Father will forgive you as well.  But if you don’t forgive people, your Father will not forgive your wrongdoing.

Matthew 7:21-23 (HCSB)

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.  On that day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?’  Then I will announce to them, ‘I never knew you! Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!’

Mark 11:25-26 (HCSB)

And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your wrongdoing.  But if you don’t forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your wrongdoing.

Colossians 3:12-13 (HCSB)

Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,  accepting one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive.

Psalm 51:10 (HCSB)

God, create a clean heart for me
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
