Prophetic Dream: Battling The Dragon & Rising Up As Queen (Rachel Adamus)

Battling the Dragon and Rising Up as Queen – Rachel Adamus

Last night, I had a dream from which I was awoken in the middle of the night and impressed to write it down immediately. The dream had multiple “scenes”:
There was a great battle with a Great Dragon. I was just entering the battle when an armor-clad warrior veteran standing there said, “It’s the bloodiest battle I’ve ever seen.”
Before me, there was a great chest full of warriors’ bodies. I could not tell how many. Then in another scene, a very large, dark shadow began to decend from the sky, growing larger and larger. It looked as large as a mountain, and it was a dragon. It was wearing a large crown. All I could see of it was a shadow-like silhouette. Then I said in a loud voice that rang out across the whole countryside, “You are defeated! You will no more wear the church’s crown!”
In the next scene, I was back at the first scene and watched as the wounded warriors, clad in their metal armor, got up revived, and the bodies began to rise up that were in the large chest. And I thought, “Were they just wounded and healed?” At that moment, a very small dragon, which seemed young, plugged himself into some kind of charger from which it obtained it’s strength and size. All the armor-clad warriors were bracing themselves for an intense fight, when I stepped up to the dragon the moment it plugged itself in and began thrusting it through with my sword, over and over, so there was not a square inch of it unimpaled. Likewise, in another part of the dream, I was cutting a very large ligament that was hidden behind something of a curtain, which mysteriously empowered the dragon. By cutting the ligament, the source of its strength had been taken from it. At this time, a queen entered the scene who was surprised to find peace when she expected a struggle.
Other parts of the dream not so clear indicated the death of a king and inheritance of a queen, as well as a wedding of a royal bride which was watched by the whole world. In my dream, this royal bride was covered head to toe by a beautiful and spotless white bridal garment and a white crown, and around the train of her garment were children. There was also a piece of the dream in which I commented about various events all pointing to one date that indicated the prophetic destruction of the dragon who was king and going to his demise (though as far as I knew in the dream, only I and those I told were aware of his prophetic downfall). And I remember saying of all those events pointing to the one date, “That is no coincidence; that is God revealing something.”
I understand the first person in the dream to be the Holy Spirit. The dream represents the colossal battle between the Church and the Devil (the dragon). The warriors who were dead or wounded represented the many Christians who had been martyred or hindered because of the Devil throughout the centuries. The proclamation of the Spirit, “You are defeated! You will no more wear the church’s crown!” referenced the time in the Garden of Eden in which the devil stole from Adam and Eve the crown of dominion that had originally been given to them. When they fell into sin through Satan’s deceit, they forfeited that crown, giving it to Satan. “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. ButGod, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:1-7). Yehushua is taking back that crown for the church, and the time of that fulfillment is now! When, in the next scene, I saw the wounded and dead reviving, it revealed the defeat of the Dragon, at which time, the Holy Spirit will strengthen and renew His church and raise His saints from the dead. My thought as to whether or not the dead warriors were truly dead alluded to the concept of “sleep” given to us in Scripture which describes the temporal nature of death for the Christian. “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you” (1 Peter 5:10). “Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).
The next scene that revealed a small, weak dragon plugging himself into some power source reveals that Satan is in and of himself powerless, small, weak, and naive against the church apart from the power that God gives to him. In the dream, the Holy Spirit did not allow Satan to “charge” himself. In other words, God removed the power from Satan that He had been allowing him and then utterly destroyed him so that he could in no aspect rise up against the Church. The scene of the ligament gave the same message in a different kind of imagery. The “curtain” represented the mystery of Satan’s power that we on earth are not enabled to see behind the scenes, unless God reveals to us what is happening, as in the book of Job. Just as suddenly as Satan is defeated by God, so also the Church will suddenly rise up in power to claim her place as queen. War will suddenly come to an end, and the spiritual battle will be quelled. The queen (the Church) will enter her wedding with Jesus Christ–Yehushua–in a period of peace. This concept is reiterated by the other fragmented parts of my dream that involved the death of a king (Satan) and the reign of a queen (the Church), as well as the royal wedding (again, the Church being wed to Christ). The spotless garment represented the purified Bride of Christ by the blood of the Lamb and the righteous deeds of the saints. The children around the train of her dress represented those “born” to her through her work of evangelization. The part of the dream describing a prophetic date speaks of the time that God has set for all these events to take place. This time is certainly set by the Father, and all things happening are racing toward that culmination. God is sovereignly orchestrating every event on the world stage to fulfill His ultimate purposes and bring about the Wedding of the Lamb. Praise Jehovah!
