Are You Ready To Meet The Lord?

by jcsouthwest

When our time comes to depart the earth,  we all must stand before Jesus Christ.  We will be welcomed into heaven or sent to Hell.  The choice is ours.

You won’t find sugar coated messages on this Blog.  The truth is not well accepted and is often ignored by professing Christians.  I will not compromise, even if it offends others.  Anyone proclaiming scripture shared is false, I say “Get Behind Me Satan”!  If someone is offended,  you are playing right into the enemies hands!  We can find plenty of examples in the Holy Bible where people were offended by Jesus and his disciples.

Some people will be taken by way of sudden death; while others will be taken when the Lord returns to gather those that died knowing him and then to transform those still alive that have kept their garments clean.

How can you keep your garments clean?  Go before the Lord daily, ask him for guidance via the Holy Spirit.  Ask him to reveal to you any area in your life that he finds displeasing.  Ask him to forgive you of anything that you may have done in action or thought, since the last time you talked with him.  You must be sincere in asking for forgiveness, as he knows our hearts.

Those that don’t have their name written in the Lamb’s Book Of Life, will be sent to the Lake Of Fire for all eternity.

Absolutely no Sin or Unforgiveness in our hearts will enter into the Kingdom.   We are born into sin and live in a sinful world, but we are given choices.  We can choose to ask the Lord to forgive us of our sins and walk in his righteousness,  or we can remain in sin thinking we have a “get out of hell” pass because we repeated a sinners prayer one time and knowingly continued in sin.

We can’t go before Jesus and use the excuse of False Teachings like “Once Saved Always Saved”!   Jesus warned us that narrow is the way and few will find it.  Most prefer the wide road that leads to destruction.

Nobody on earth is without sin, it’s why we must come to the Father through Jesus his only son.  It’s through the sacrifice he made on the cross, that we have been atoned for our sins.  It’s by grace, love and mercy that we will make it into heaven.  Nothing we can do on our own, will get us into heaven.  No rituals, festivals, personal sacrifices or any of our works with make us worthy;  it’s only by repenting and asking the Lord to create a clean heart that will get us in.

If we do not have love for others, we will not enter into the Kingdom.  We are commanded by Jesus himself to love one another and that includes our enemies and anyone that has trespassed against us.

Anytime we stumble, we must go to Jesus and ask for forgiveness.  We are all week, but he gives us the strength we need to continue on that narrow path.  If we stumble and do not ask for forgiveness, we will open the door for the enemy.

Sitting in a church pew on Sunday will not get us into heaven.

Observing Jewish customs will not get us into heaven. The Lord came here for all of humanity, not just the Jewish people.  He did not come here to hang out with religious people,  he went after the sinner to show them the truth.

We are not to Judge others for observing or not observing Jewish customs, nor or we to Judge others based on outward appearances.   What we are commanded to do is to show the truth to others in Love and point out what will happen if someone continues down the wide road of destruction.  We are to pray for sinners and always show love towards them;  this does not mean it’s fine to accept the sin, but we need to reach out to those that don’t know the Lord.  We are also to be lead by the Holy Spirit in bringing correction to those that have lost their way.

If we truly have the fruit of the spirit,  people will know that we are Sealed by the Father aka (remnant, bride, true believers..).   Love is one such fruit.  Our works will perish without Love.  If our fruit resembles a raisin or prune,  it’s time to ask the Lord into your heart and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

If we have the Holy Spirit within us, conviction will always be there to guide us any time we stumble and will also help us in our daily lives.   If we allow the Holy Spirit to work within us, all of the Laws/Commands will indeed be written in our hearts and we will not want to sin!

Jesus came here not to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it.  Without him doing that, none of us would make it into the Kingdom.   No sacrifices we make would ever atone for our sins, when we stumble.   Those that don’t know Jesus will not have such atonement through the blood that paid the price of sin in full.  By paying the Sin Debt In Full,  he did not give us freedom to continue in Sin!

Those that have “dirty garments” will not make it into the kingdom.  How can your garments get dirty?  You knowingly sinned and never asked Jesus to forgive you.  You thought you were covered for future sins, so you didn’t bother to go back to him telling him you were truly sorry and ask him to guide you.

Let me give you an example of how your garments will get dirty.   You have repented of all sin, accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and have been filled with the Holy Spirit.  The enemy came and convinced you that a “little sin” is fine, and the Lord will overlook it!  Wrong!  The Lord will not overlook any sin.  The enemy wants you to feel good and convince you that daily repentance is not needed; otherwise you would be living in fear!  How do you think that worked out for people in the Bible?   We can find many examples where people turned away from the Lord and it was at their own peril.

Do you think that if you are knowingly in the act of Sin when the Lord returns, that you will be instantly with him?  Review the story of the Prodigal Son;  yes you will be forgiven and welcome into the arms of Jesus, but you must do your part and walk away from sin and ask for such forgiveness any time you stumble!

The enemy will also tell you that Salvation does not need to be worked out; once you are saved you’re good to go!  Remember that the enemy can disguise himself as an angel of light and even quote scripture to you!

By knowingly continuing in Sin, your are nailing Jesus back on the Cross and grieving the Holy Spirit!

Many preaching the lies of “once saved always saved” are also known as those spewing out “Greasy Grace” or “Sloppy Agape”.

Sin is Sin no matter how you cover it up!

Matthew 24:9-14

“Then they will hand you over for persecution, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of My name.  Then many will take offense, betray one another and hate one another.  Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.  Because lawlessness will multiply, the love of many will grow cold.

But the one who endures to the end will be delivered. This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations. And then the end will come.

Philippians 2:12-18

So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.  For it is God who is working in you, enabling you both to desire and to work out His good purpose.  Do everything without grumbling and arguing,  so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world.  Hold firmly to the message of life. Then I can boast in the day of Christ that I didn’t run or labor for nothing.  But even if I am poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.  In the same way you should also be glad and rejoice with me.

Revelation 22:12-17

“Look! I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me to repay each person according to what he has done.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

“Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates.  Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to attest these things to you for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright Morning Star.”

Both the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Anyone who hears should say, “Come!” And the one who is thirsty should come. Whoever desires should take the living water as a gift.

Hebrews 6:1-8

Therefore, leaving the elementary message about the Messiah, let us go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, faith in God,  teaching about ritual washings, laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.  And we will do this if God permits.

For it is impossible to renew to repentance those who were once enlightened, who tasted the heavenly gift, became companions with the Holy Spirit,  tasted God’s good word and the powers of the coming age,  and who have fallen away, because, to their own harm, they are recrucifying the Son of God and holding Him up to contempt.  For ground that has drunk the rain that has often fallen on it and that produces vegetation useful to those it is cultivated for receives a blessing from God.  But if it produces thorns and thistles, it is worthless and about to be cursed, and will be burned at the end.

Matthew 5:17-20

“Don’t assume that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.  For I assure you: Until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or one stroke of a letter will pass from the law until all things are accomplished.  Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches people to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  For I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Romans 13:8-10

Do not owe anyone anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.  The commandments:

Do not commit adultery; do not murder; do not steal; do not covet; and whatever other commandment—all are summed up by this: Love your neighbor as yourself.

Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Love, therefore, is the fulfillment of the law.

Galatians 5:13-15

For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.  For the entire law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself. But if you bite and devour one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.

Matthew 22:34-40

When the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they came together.  And one of them, an expert in the law, asked a question to test Him:  “Teacher, which command in the law is the greatest?”

He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command.  The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.”

Matthew 7:1-6

“Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged.  For with the judgment you use, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.  Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye but don’t notice the log in your own eye?  Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and look, there’s a log in your eye?  Hypocrite! First take the log out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.  Don’t give what is holy to dogs or toss your pearls before pigs, or they will trample them with their feet, turn, and tear you to pieces.
