Once Saved Always Saved False Doctrine Will Take Many To Hell (Artcrn7)

I FOUND THIS ON A COMMENT AND THOUGHT IT WAS RIGHT ON THE MARK AND EXPLAINS THE FALSE DOCTRINE OF ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED WELL. ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED IS 100% ANTICHRIST BECAUSE HE WANTS YOU TO BELIEVE YOU CAN STAY IN REPEATED SINS DAILY AND NEVER REPENT TO GOD. HOW CAN ANYONE BE SAVED IF THEY ARE WILLINGLY SINNING AGAINST GOD?

Once Saved; Always Saved? The Doctrine of Eternal Security or Once Saved; Always Saved, is not found in the bible (anywhere). A search of the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance does not lead to any biblical verse on O.S.A.S. I couldn’t find any concordance or other bible study resources that led to any biblical verses on O.S.A.S. I have never had anyone who fervently believes in this doctrine that could come up with any verse that stated such a doctrine was within the bible. The best anyone could do is provide scriptures that referenced biblical promises, biblical facts on salvation, the love of God, etc.

It is written that upon salvation one’s name is written into the book of life, also known as the Lamb’s Book of Life. See Phil 4:3, Rev 3:5, Rev 13:8, Rev 17:8, Rev 20:12, Rev 20:15, Rev 21:27 and Rev 22:19. Notice that Jesus himself, in Rev. 3:5, reveals that one’s name can be blotted out of the book of life if they are not an overcomer. When presented with this information, adherents of O.S.A.S. reply: well that only pertains to the church at Sardis, or they were never really saved in the first place, or Jesus really didn’t mean that, more. Imagine, Jesus, the Creator God not really meaning what He said!

I O.S.A.S. there is no such thing as falling away from the gospel, no non-overcoming, no sins that keep one from heaven. Why is it important that one deal with this doctrine of Eternal Security? It’s being preached from the pulpit as if it had biblical foundation. Which it does not! This doctrine can lead to death in hell forever. Let’s look at the attitude toward sin from the perspective of this false doctrine. It is stated by the followers of this doctrine that once one’s name is written into the book of life, they are forever saved from entry into hell. This is a pretty good doctrine to believe in for one who wants to sin and yet go to heaven. Having one’s name permanently written into the book of life, allows one to sin, sin, sin and God can’t do anything about it. It’s a “Kings X”, safety net, a closed position, etc. This doctrine ties God’s hands regarding sin and hell.

It is easy to see why this is such a popular doctrine. Unsupported biblically, yet so appealing to the reasoning of man, his spirituality and his flesh. Is continual prayer for repentance necessary? Not according to this doctrine. Repentance is not necessary at all. God can’t judge any sin attributed to a person after having one’s name written into the book of life, for those who adhere to the doctrine of Eternal Security. Therefore, a prayer of repentance is totally unnecessary.

How about dreams/visions of Christians in hell? Under the doctrine of Eternal Security it is impossible for there to be Christians in hell. Remember: Once Saved; Always Saved. Those who propose through dreams/visions of seeing Christians in hell are not to be believed. Jesus stated in Matt 7:21-23 that “(21) Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven…” Here Jesus is stating that not every one (Christians, others) will enter into heaven.

The bible is repleat with verses that state that upon death, one either enters heaven or hell. Therefore, Jesus is stating that many (Christians) will enter hell. Of course, if one holds to the doctrine of Eternal Security, Christians can never enter hell. O.S.A.S. Ask a person who adheres to O.S.A.S., what could ever keep them from going to heaven. They will tell you nothing. The above should give the reader enough to consider. My conclusion is that there is no biblical foundation for such a doctrinal belief. If it does not come from a biblical source, it is either from the imagination of man or from the enemy of the Living God. As for me and my house, I reject O.S.A.S. and will continue to follow what Jesus teaches. I hope you do the same.
