‘Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.’ Philippians 2:3-4

In April I felt somehow distant from the LORD. Nothing had changed that I was aware of but the feeling grew. I ask Abba Father what was happening and why I felt distant from Him. I share His response that it might help us all come to a deeper understanding of the goodness of our very loving God.

“Daughter, what you are feeling, experiencing is a distance between Me and My children. You are feeling what millions are feeling… a heaviness, unsettling, a lack of closeness, distant. All feelings of the lost and wayward among you.

Millions have lost their way. They have no idea what is happening to them or why they feel as they feel. You pass them everyday but do not notice. This distant feeling is given to bring many to Me – hearts and lives turning to Me. Seeking a peace they do not have.

You have been given this feeling so that you can understand their heart and pray for the lost. Too many focus on self at the expense of others. Look around, see the lives of those I will bring into your life. Pray for them. Look closely, see past the smile to the hurting deep within. Pray as Holy Spirit will lead. Do not assume all is well. Do not be in such a rush that you miss the grief pent up inside.

Do not neglect to pray. The heaviness of your heart is My love for the hurting. Do not neglect to pray.”

‘Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.’ Psalm 143:10

‘But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.’ Isaiah 59:2

‘A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.’ John 13:34
